Moscow is avoiding a trilateral meeting with the U.S. and Ukraine, as it seeks negotiations without Kyiv.

Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko reported this on Telegram .

Kovalenko stressed that it is important not to give Russia more opportunities to stall, since Putin’s negotiator Ushakov is openly avoiding discussion of a trilateral meeting.

“Let me remind you that the entire Russian information and diplomatic strategy was built around the idea of negotiating with the U.S. without Ukraine. But the U.S. adheres to the principle of nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine. That is why Moscow is now avoiding clear communication,” the CCD chief explained.
