Russian «fuhrer» Vladimir Putin made the cynical claim that Ukraine is supposedly rejecting an end to the war by peaceful means, adding that Moscow does not see such willingness.

The comments were made by the Russian dictator during the annual «Year-End Results with Vladimir Putin» event.

According to him, Russia is allegedly ready and even «wants» to end the war through «peace based on the principles set out by the Russian president in the summer of 2024 at the Russian Foreign Ministry.»

Putin claims the Kremlin «feels and knows» of «some signals» from Ukraine suggesting a willingness to engage in dialogue. At the same time, the dictator brazenly asserts that Moscow «still does not see Kyiv ready to discuss territorial issues.»

«Russia is ready to end the „conflict“ (the term the Kremlin frequently uses for the war it started — Ed.) in Ukraine if the root causes of the crisis are removed, ” the „fuhrer“ said bluntly.
