U.S. President’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who has arrived in Russia, is set to meet with the country’s President Vladimir Putin to discuss the "Ukrainian settlement."

This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS, citing statements from Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"Putin and Witkoff will discuss the Ukrainian settlement; this is a good opportunity to convey Russia’s position to Trump… The meeting with Witkoff will last as long as President Putin deems necessary. No breakthroughs are expected from the Putin-Witkoff meeting; it is a continuation of the diplomatic work between Russia and the U.S.," Peskov said.
