"We need peace": Zelenskyy issues key statement following talks with Erdogan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signaled Ukraine’s readiness to send a delegation to Istanbul for talks with Russia.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan proposed hosting peace talks between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after meeting the Turkish leader, according to Novyny.Live.
He said discussions with Erdogan focused on boosting support for Ukraine and the possibility of a new round of negotiations aimed at ending the war.
"We spoke with President Erdogan for the sake of peace. He stands on the side of peace as well. Naturally, we must end this war as quickly as possible," Zelenskyy stated.
The President of Turkey proposed holding negotiations in Istanbul, and the Ukrainian leader confirmed the readiness of the Ukrainian side to attend such a meeting. He added that he is also ready for a meeting of leaders in any format.
"We need peace, we need negotiations," Zelenskyy stressed.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that the trilateral meeting is currently being postponed due to the shift in the United States' focus to events in Iran. In addition, the parties have not yet reached an agreement on the venue for the talks.
At the same time, the head of the OP, Kyrylo Budanov, reported that Kiev is expecting the arrival of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the near future, who will lead a delegation to resume peace talks with Russia.
