Despite economic troubles, Moscow will still have enough resources to wage war against Ukraine in 2026.

Political analyst Vadym Denysenko said this during a broadcast on “KYIV24”.

According to him, Russia’s military budget for next year is expected to rise to a level that will be “significantly higher” than Ukraine’s defence spending. This, the expert noted, will allow the Kremlin to keep up the pace of its fighting.

Denysenko said Russia’s propaganda apparatus is working aggressively on the international stage to obstruct the reparations loan for Ukraine.

“Their information machine is doing everything it can to stop this loan. If it doesn’t come through, Ukraine could find itself in a major financial crisis,” he warned.

The expert added that partner financial support will remain crucial for Ukraine’s defence and economic resilience in 2025–2026.
