Heavy fighting persists on Dobropillia front: Situation remains uncertain
Fierce clashes continue on the Dobropillia front in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, with both sides locked in a grueling back-and-forth struggle, bolstered by significant forces.

The situation remains tense on the section of the front near Dobropillia. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions, but the enemy has amassed even greater forces.
This was reported on September 19, 2025, by military analyst Bohdan Myroshnykov.
Because of this, the confrontation has shifted to a tactical phase — a struggle is under way for key heights, observation posts and strongholds.
According to the analyst, the balance of forces and the outcome of the confrontation can currently be assessed as “50–50.” He stresses that a decisive factor will be the timely response of the command and the resilience of Ukrainian soldiers.
There is hope that the army will be able to carry out its plan and break the enemy’s resistance despite the difficult combat conditions.
