Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in the Odesa region during the night of December 12, leaving around 90,000 customers without power and causing water outages in parts of Odesa.

The report came from Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

“Damage assessment is ongoing, and crews are already working to restore supply. Critical infrastructure and major enterprises have shifted to generator power,” Kiper said.

According to him, water supply issues have also been reported in Odesa, and public transport is facing disruptions. The city has put additional buses into service on routes that mirror the electric transport lines.

According to Kiper, 161 “points of invincibility” have been established within Odesa, with 356 more across the region.
