Attack by Russian "Shahed" drones
Russian forces damaged civilian infrastructure of the Prydniprovska Railway during a drone attack on the night of August 7.
This was reported by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
"Another night... Another night of massive raids by swarms of "Shahed" drones on completely civilian railway infrastructure. This time — Prydniprovska," the official's statement read.
He noted that all on-duty railway workers were promptly moved to shelters. Infrastructure and equipment were damaged.
"We will restore the infrastructure and equipment after the damage. We are by no means stopping operations — they definitely won’t succeed in sowing panic or despair," Pertsovskyi said.
