Russia changes tactics and upgrades drones: Ihnat on the challenges facing Ukraine’s air defenses

Russian forces are trying to alter their drone strike tactics and are upgrading them, but Ukraine’s air defense continues to show high effectiveness, said Yurii Ihnat, Head of the Communications Department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the program We — Ukraine.
During the latest massive attack, the enemy launched 289 drones, mostly «Shaheds, ” Ihnat said.

Russia adjusts drone attack tactics
Ihnat says that Russia is trying to upgrade its drones and alter its operational methods, but a large number of targets are still intercepted or neutralized.
Effectiveness comes not only from strike systems but also from electronic warfare systems, which help neutralize drones before they reach their targets.
Despite attempts by the enemy to breach Ukrainian defenses, most aerial targets fail to reach their intended locations.
