Russia issues cynical statement following massive attack on Kyiv
Following its massive assault on Kyiv, Russia has issued a cynical narrative claiming it carried out «precision strikes.»

In the wake of strikes hitting residential buildings in Kyiv, the Russian Federation cynically claimed to have delivered a «retaliatory strike» against Ukraine.
Russian state media outlets carried the statement, citing the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country.
Following the massive and deadly bombardment of Kyiv and other regions, Moscow cynically labeled the attack with «high-precision weapons» as «retaliation.»
Despite civilian fatalities in Ukraine’s capital, Russia’s military leadership cynically claimed that they targeted only «military objectives» and allegedly «hit» only those. In its traditional manner, the Russian defense ministry also cynically boasted of «successful and precise strikes.»
The Ministry of Defense brazenly justifies the massive attack, falsely claiming that it allegedly targeted military-industrial complex facilities, military airfields in several regions, logistics centers, and nuclear power plants purportedly used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
