Russia strikes Kharkiv with guided bombs: people may be trapped under rubble

The attack on Kharkiv left six people injured. Mayor Ihor Terekhov says there may still be people under the rubble.

On the morning of 24 October, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv, hitting the Industrialnyi district with five guided aerial bombs. The strike caused destruction and casualties. People may be trapped under the rubble.

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

One impact damaged a civilian enterprise in the Industrialnyi district, leaving several people wounded. Several cars were damaged and a fire broke out.

“According to updated information, one strike hit a motor depot, damaging more than 20 vehicles. The other hit a civilian enterprise,” Terekhov said.

The blast wave damaged two apartment buildings, blowing out windows at another impact site.

Inspections of the impact sites are ongoing.

At present, six people are known to have been injured in the attack. There may still be people under the rubble.
