The Russian Armed Forces cynically violated the Easter ceasefire they themselves had declared. From the moment the "silence regime" was slated to begin, the enemy failed to cease hostilities, launching hundreds of strikes on Ukrainian defensive positions and civilian settlements.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the precise number of attacks and the operational situation as of 10:00 p.m. on April 11.

Hundreds of violations in a matter of hours

According to the Ukrainian military command, 469 violations were recorded after 4:00 p.m.—the time the truce was officially scheduled to begin.

Specifically, the Russian army conducted 22 ground assaults, 153 artillery strikes, and 19 strikes using "Lancet" and "Molniya" kamikaze drones. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders faced 275 strikes from FPV drones.

Frontline hotspots

Since the beginning of the day, 101 combat engagements have occurred along the line of contact. The enemy exerted the greatest pressure in the Kostiantynivka sector, where Defense Forces successfully repelled 19 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillya, Rusyn Yar, Sofiyivka, and Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers launched 18 attacks attempting to advance in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, and several other settlements. Preliminary estimates for this sector alone indicate 67 invaders killed and 24 wounded. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy command post and specialized equipment, and damaged tanks and artillery systems. Furthermore, 272 drones of various types were either destroyed or suppressed.

Airstrikes and mass terror

Throughout April 11, Russia launched a total of 57 airstrikes, dropping 182 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also deployed nearly 4,000 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,454 strikes against settlements and Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.

In other sectors, Ukrainian defenders continue to steadily hold back the aggressor. Specifically, six enemy attempts to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector, and five assaults were thwarted in the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi sector. A series of attacks were also countered in the Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovskyi (near the Antonivka Bridge) sectors. Kherson and settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region were subjected to airstrikes.
