Ukraine faces a shortage of kinetic air defense means, and this most affects the ability to neutralize ballistic targets. At the same time, cruise missile intercepts reach one hundred percent thanks to a perfected system.

This was stressed by the founder of defense production company First Contact, Valeriy Borovyk, in a comment to Kyiv24 TV.

«Means are catastrophically lacking, and all high-ranking officials state this,» he noted.

The expert added that Ukraine also lacks kinetic means to neutralize «Shaheds» and other enemy strike assets, while the high intercept percentage is ensured by proven tactics and high professionalism of Ukrainian sky defenders.

«We understand flight trajectories and routes, so the main question is the quantity of these means: how many we can produce ourselves and how many our partners can provide. This is the most important thing,» Borovyk explained.
