The Ukrainian delegation is returning from the United States on December 22 and is set to brief on progress made during talks in Florida. A core set of documents has been prepared.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed the details.

He said that talks in the United States covered:

  • 20 points of a peace plan — not flawless, but in place;

  • a framework document on security guarantees for Ukraine from Europe and the United States;

  • a separate document on bilateral guarantees between the United States and Ukraine that will require approval by Congress;

  • an agreement on Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, for which a first draft has been prepared.

«The basic blocks of all the documents are ready, in my opinion. The fundamentals. There are certain things we are likely not ready for, and I am sure there are things the Russians are not ready for either, ” Zelenskyy said.

He added that the U.S. side will continue engaging with Russia and that Ukraine will then receive feedback. «They have all the information from us, ” Zelenskyy said.
