Ukrainian forces have exceptional experience in intercepting Iranian “Shahed” drones and are ready to share it with partners. However, Ukraine will not send its troops to participate in missions in the Middle East.

The statement was made by Vadym Skibitsky, Deputy Head of the Defence Intelligence.

“We have the expertise to understand from which direction, when, and along which route they launch "Shaheds". This is practical experience of our forces in interception,” the intelligence representative said.

According to him, effective defense against such threats relies on a coordinated approach using multiple systems, from mobile fire units to surface-to-air missile systems and electronic warfare tools.

Skibitsky stresses that Ukraine offers partners intellectual resources — lessons learned under continuous fire. “We are not saying we will participate in missions abroad in practice, but we offer shared experience, since this threat remains relevant for everyone,” he said.
