Following the Ukrainian delegation’s discussions with US and European partners in Geneva, the list of steps to end the war was made «doable.» The final document, which will underpin a potential peace process, has now been substantially refined.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his evening address.

«Our delegation returned from Geneva after negotiations with the American side and European partners, and now the list of necessary steps to end the war can become doable,» — the President said.

According to him, the initial draft of the «peace plan» was significantly revised.

«As of now, after Geneva, there are fewer points — no longer 28 — and many of the right elements have been taken into account in this framework, ” Zelenskyy said.

He stressed that considerable work remains to finalize the document.

«There is still work for all of us to do together — it is very challenging — to finalize the document, and we must do everything with dignity. We appreciate that most of the world is ready to help us and that the American side is approaching this constructively.»

The President stressed that the most «sensitive» elements of the new draft will be discussed directly with US President Donald Trump.

He further confirmed Kyiv’s principled stance: Ukraine will never be an obstacle to peace.

«This is our shared principle, and millions of Ukrainians are counting on, and deserve, a dignified peace. We will do everything for this, and we are ready to work as quickly as possible,» — Zelenskyy concluded.
