A positive effect in disrupting the offensive actions of the Russian army can be achieved by conducting combined attacks with long-range missiles and drones on the military facilities of Russian forces in the rear.
This opinion was expressed by military expert and Head of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, Oleksandr Musienko on the air of FREEDОМ.
"When ballistic missiles attack jointly with cruise missiles and drones, and all this happens almost simultaneously or with a periodicity of several hours, then, of course, this would bring serious results. Having a considerable number of fire damage means, such as Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG or ATACMS, and using them on significant military targets of Russian forces in the rear, I think that any counteroffensive actions of the enemy could be disrupted," the military expert states.
Musienko emphasizes that the Russian forces are preparing to intensify offensive actions and are accumulating personnel. According to him, the occupiers are forced to pull forces to Kursk region instead of redeploying troops to other directions. This is a sign that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is yielding results.
"Russia has fallen into a hole. It must constantly, constantly, constantly feed this hole. So they are replenishing it with their personnel, equipment. In November, Russia lost a lot of equipment, and they began conducting infantry assaults," the expert says.
It is in this way that it is necessary to reduce the enemy's capabilities and capacities so that "they cannot fully implement their plans and conduct offensive actions."
