Yesterday, on June 1st, the special trains with armored vehicles and military hardware were seen at Korobchitsy and Svisloch railway stations in Grodno District of Belarus, Belorussian Hayun reported.

According to the eyewitness accounts, Belarus has transported at least 37 AMPVs, 5 9К33М3 Osa ADMSs, 2 Ural trucks, BRDM-2, BTS-4, and 2 Osa ADMSs chassis covered by the tent.

All vehicles belong to the Belarussian military and are marked with the very specific identification insignia – the red square. This morning, the special train departed from Grodno. Later during the day it was seen in Baranovichi and in Ivatsevichskyi District moving towards Brest.

According to the available data, the most of the hardware has been loaded on the special train and kept in Khoyniki since may 7th. Previously, these vehicles were likely deployed in Gomel Region and used for strengthening the border with Ukraine in that area.
Another part of these vehicles now transported towards Brest was previously deployed at the border with Poland.

Moreover, on June 2nd Uraltransmash (Ural Transport Engineering Plant) sent to Belarus a convoy of 2S3M Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers. The plant’s representatives claimed that the howitzers had improved communication devices, higher fire rate, increased ammunition allowance and used only domestically manufactured parts.

2S3M Akatsiya SP howitzers are armed with 152-mm cannon and is intended for counterfire activity, elimination of armored targets, suppression of enemy rear units, destruction of enemy fortification and utilities. According to varying estimates, the Belorussian Army may have around one hundred Akatsiya howitzers in its arsenal.
