Civilian Man Was Executed by Russian Troops at Checkpoint in Kherson  

In the temporarily occupied city of Kherson, the Russian troops executed a civilian man near their checkpoint in one of the outer-lying residential districts, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

"According to the investigation data, on April 19th, 2020, the military servicemen of the Russian Federation deployed near an unauthorized checkpoint in KhBK District of Kherson inflicted a gunshot wound to the local male resident. The enemy bullet pierced his femoral artery causing the death of the victim”, the report reads.  

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office started investigation under the criminal case on charges of violation of rules and customs of war and premeditated murder (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
