Enemy Precisely Targeted School in Zaporizhia Region
The characteristic debris around the shell pit leave no doubt regarding the missile type used. These were S-300 missiles.
The enemy precisely targets Ukrainian schools in Zaporizhzhia Region, TSN reports.
Twice during the past week, the Russians shelled the Ukraine-controlled part of the Polohy district, deliberately targeting Ukrainian schools. In the middle of the week, an educational establishment in Dobropillia suffered significant damage after a missile strike, and the day before, three missiles destroyed a school in Vodvyzhivka. Another missile exploded right in the backyard in a local residential neighborhood.
The first Russian missile hit a part of the two-story school building, where the youngest students were studying. The second one left a deep shell pit in the school yard, right under the windows physics and labor education classrooms. "All the people are coming and crying! They're coming and crying! It's impossible to look at all this," a local resident said.
"I had four schools in my area. They were all recently renovated and in a good condition. However two days ago, they shelled a two-storey-high school building in Dobropillia community. Tonight at 1:30 a.m., one more missile came in, and another school was destroyed”, Viktor Tiutiunyk, the Head of Vozdvyzhivka Community Administration, said.
The third missile landed in the park near the school and left a six-meter deep shell pit on the ground.
Residential houses located close to the point of impact had their slates torn off the roofs. Walls and fences were smashed by the debris. As soon as sun rose, the residents of the wrecked structures, together with their neighbors, took up their building tools. The characteristic debris around the shell pit left no doubt that the invaders used S-300 missiles.
