Today, November 2, at 4:54 a.m., an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of Russian attack drones. Explosions have been heard across the capital.

TSN.ua has gathered all currently available information about the morning attack.

Russian forces attacked Kyiv with 'Shahed' drones, resulting in debris from these drones falling across six districts of the capital: Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Dniprovskyi.

Solomianskyi District

"As a result of the attack by Russian strike UAVs on Kyiv, debris fell in the Solomianskyi district within residential areas," the Kyiv City Military Administration reported at 5:42 a.m. It was specified that windows in several residential buildings were damaged, as well as at least five parked cars.

Sviatoshynskyi District

At 6:12 a.m., Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed that debris had also fallen in the Sviatoshynskyi district. "Preliminary information, which is being verified, indicates a fire in a 16-story residential building. Emergency services are on the way," stated Kyiv’s administration. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko also confirmed the fire in the residential building.

"Medics were called to the Svyatoshynskyi District. According to preliminary information, a fire broke out in a residential building as a result of debris hitting," Klitschko wrote.

Klitschko reported on one victim in the Sviatoshynskyi district in the residential building where the fire broke out.

"The man was provided with medical help on the spot," Klitschko noted. Later, the State Emergency Service reported that the drone attack caused a fire covering 50 square meters, with partial destruction in apartments on the 15th and 16th floors.

"In the Sviatoshynskyi District, a fire broke out in a 16-story residential building on the upper floors. Partial destruction of the top floors is possible. The fire is being extinguished on an area of 15 square meters. Residents are being evacuated. Information about the victims is being clarified," the message says.

According to the police report, a patrol officer assisting residents in a burning building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was hospitalized, likely due to smoke inhalation. Another injured resident from the same district received medical assistance on-site without hospitalization.

Shevchenkivskyi District

In the Shevchenkivskyi District, drone debris struck an office building, as reported by Vitaliy Klitschko. Preliminary information suggests a fire broke out on one of the floors.

Holosiivskyi District

In the Holosiivskyi district, windows in several apartments were partially damaged in a 22-story residential building. No fire or victims were reported.

Dniprovskyi District

Initial reports indicate small fires on the balconies of several apartment buildings. Details are still being clarified, and no victims have been reported.

Pecherskyi District

A balcony was damaged in an eight-story residential building. No fire or injuries were reported.
