Reznikov announced the 11th meeting in the “Ramstein” format: what will be discussed

The eleventh meeting of the contact group on defense issues of Ukraine is to be held at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, RFE/RL informs.  

"This will be the eleventh “Ramstein”, it will take place at the Ramstein base," said the head of the Ministry of Defense.

The minister noted that the delivery of air defense systems will remain a priority during the new meeting. Ukraine also needs armored vehicles and shells for heavy artillery. In addition, deliveries of electronic warfare (EW), drones and anti-drones will be considered during the meeting.  

Reznikov did not announce the exact date of the new meeting at the Ramstein Air Base.  

When asked about the supply of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine, Reznikov noted that this is "the most complex and expensive system that requires maintenance."  

"Everyone is counting money. They are counting the money of their taxpayers. Accordingly, making a decision to provide us with planes means that all countries must be ready to give planes, with spare parts and maintenance. And it will no longer be about hundreds of millions of aid, but about billions. We must give credit to our partners — if they make a decision, it is very responsible," Reznikov explained.
