Russia intensifies information terror in the occupied territories – Ukrainian intelligence

The occupying authorities are tightening control over the information space in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
According to intelligence data, Russia has allocated additional funds for the federal censor “Roskomnadzor.” Plans include the creation of a new data center and the modernization of servers to strengthen information control both within Russia and in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
“The goal of these measures is to enhance the effectiveness of tracking and blocking undesirable content, which is part of the strategy of information isolation,” the report states.
Additionally, intelligence reports indicate that over 2,500 websites have already been deployed in the occupied territories to serve the needs of occupying administrations and so-called “government bodies.” They operate on the Russian “Gosweb” platform, which is used for Russian government resources.
