Russia Is Getting Ready for Long-Term War – Defence Intelligence
The Kremlin is taking measures to reorganize the economy and military-industrial complex of the country.
According to the observations of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence, Russia is preparing for a long-term war.
In particular, the measures taken by Vladimir Putin to reorganize the Russian economy and the military-industrial complex indicate the preparation of the country's transfer to martial law, the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence believes.
Such measures are aimed at strengthening the potential of the Russian Armed Forces and creating conditions for operations planned at the very beginning of the war, but unsuccessfully implemented by the Russian troops.
The Defence Intelligence notes that Russia's attempts to accumulate all available military resources to continue the war against Ukraine, as well as the recent appointment of the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valeriy Gerasimov as the new commander of the Russian troops indicate not only the military failures of the Kremlin, but also Moscow's preparations for the continuation of a large-scale long-term war.
