On Monday 23rd, the Russian troops once again shelled an evacuation bus with 18 residents of Hirske community in Luhansk Region.
The evacuation bus was shelled when approaching a village of Vrubivka, according to Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
"Luckily, everyone managed to avoid the injuries, and all refugees are now safe. We use each and every opportunity to rescue our people. We are taking these risks together, we rejoice together when we approach the safe location: “We made it!”. The process of evacuation and delivery of humanitarian goods is very complicated, so we can arrange only one evacuation trip per day. There are more and more people to leave the active combat zone, however the Russian shelling intensify daily”, he emphasized.
