The enemy is continuously increasing the number of drones, launching them in groups at high altitudes.

This was shared by military expert, Reserve Colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Hrabskiy during a broadcast on "Espreso."

"I would like to point out that the number of missiles fired by Russia at Ukraine since the beginning of 2025 has, firstly, been small, and secondly, the enemy is trying to compensate for this with drones. We observe a clear trend that the number of drones, at least since December 2024, has been steadily growing every month. If by the end of last year, the number of enemy drones was approximately 2,000-2,500 per month, then in February, 3,900 drones were recorded. I have a strong feeling that March will surpass this number. We will see "new achievements" of the Russian aggressive military machine," he noted.

According to Hrabskiy, the Russians are using a new tactic for deploying drones across Ukraine. This tactic is completely different from what we have seen before – now the enemy is sending drones in swarms that attack cities, which was one of the elements of the night attack on Odesa.

"The second element is that drones approach Odesa at high altitudes, about 2 km, and then dive. We cannot use our advantage with mobile fire groups. Technically, it is very difficult to shoot down such a target that is diving toward you. This is a new element in the enemy's tactics for using drones. The drones themselves haven't changed much; there are modifications to these unmanned systems. We have known about such modifications for a long time, when the Russians increased the combat load from 48-50 kg to 80-90 kg, making these drones more dangerous. They are also using jet engines, which increases the drones' speed. So, these are not new drones, but an improvement in the terrorist tactics of their use," the reserve colonel concluded.
