De-occupation of Crimea: an expert said at which stage the operation is

The special operation to liberate Crimea continues. In particular, Ukraine is striking Russian objects in Russia and Crimea.

Mykhailo Samus, Deputy Director of the Army Research Center, said this on the air of “24 Kanal”.

At what stage is the operation for the liberation of the peninsula

Samus mentioned that the strikes serve various purposes: strategic (strikes on Russian territory) and operational (strikes on Crimea). Thus, the operation to de-occupy the peninsula is currently at the stage of "formation". In particular, it is about the destruction of important objects by the Defense Forces:

• headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet;

• reserve command post and other command posts located in the communication node;

• air defense systems;

• aviation bases;

• naval assets, etc.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out the operation to de-occupy Crimea in an absolutely methodical manner. It seems to be a long way from conducting a ground operation, but it will be carried out after preparatory measures to destroy aviation, air defense and other strike systems on the territory of Crimea," - the Deputy Director of the Army Research Center says.

The expert assures: the Russian fleet must forever lose its ability to dominate the Black Sea. Thus, Ukraine will be able to return Crimea, territorial waters and economic zone under its control.
