DTEK energy workers came under fire in Dnipropetrovsk region

A repair crew from DTEK came under enemy fire while conducting work on an overhead power line in Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported by DTEK.

"The DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks crew was performing work on an overhead line in a settlement close to the front line when they were attacked by enemy drones. One of the drones struck the crew's vehicle, which caught fire. Fortunately, the energy workers managed to take cover and remained unharmed," the statement said.

It was noted that the energy workers were evacuated as soon as the security situation allowed.

The company emphasized that despite the danger, energy workers continue to operate to ensure that people have electricity.

In particular, last week DTEK repair crews restored power to over 10,000 families who were left without electricity due to enemy shelling. In total, electricity was restored in 14 settlements that were fully or partially without power.
