Energy workers achieved the impossible: MP on stable winter performance

Ukraine successfully passed the winter season without critical electricity outages, despite predictions of large-scale blackouts.

This was stated by Member of Parliament Yevhen Pivovarov in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, this was made possible thanks to the professional work of energy workers and effective coordination from the Ministry of Energy.

"Energy workers did the impossible – despite massive attacks, they quickly repaired damaged facilities, maintained balance in the system, and ensured electricity for all Ukrainians. Thanks to their coordinated work, people hardly felt the outages," emphasized Pivovarov.

The MP noted that the energy system demonstrated exceptional resilience, as energy workers quickly restored critical facilities after each enemy strike.

Pivovarov also highlighted the role of nuclear energy, which remained the foundation of the energy system's stability. Throughout the entire heating season, 9 nuclear power plant units supplied about 60% of electricity consumption.

Another key factor was effective management of the energy system and coordination between all energy companies and the Ministry of Energy.

"This winter proved once again: Ukrainian energy withstands any challenges. Thank you to everyone who worked to ensure there was light in our homes," Pivovarov emphasized.
