President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has named five main directions as the foundations for peace. They are based on unity and democracy.

The Head of State made these remarks during his address at the conference on the restoration of Ukraine, which was taking place in London.

"I will outline five directions from which we began to create the foundations for peace. The first is the potential in unity. The second is the potential in stability. The third is the potential for growth. The fourth is the potential for security. The fifth is the potential for democracy," the President said.

Zelenskyy expressed the opinion that Ukraine has already managed to "make the European Union as united as it has never been": "This unity is expressed in many political, economic, sanction-related, and humanitarian decisions."

The President emphasized that today in London, a Ukrainian delegation will present specific proposals for joint actions, particularly regarding the post-war recovery of Ukraine.

The Head of State noted that there is currently no other place in the world that requires as much reconstruction as Ukraine.

"Every day of Russian aggression brings new ruins. Thousands and thousands of destroyed buildings, devastated industries, and shattered lives. Recently, Russia committed the largest ecocide crime in Europe by blowing up the dam and other structures of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. What does it mean? Ukraine is the largest source of economic, industrial and technological growth in Europe for dozens and dozens of years. Moreover, it is not only reconstruction. For example, it is green metallurgy," Zelenskyy emphasized.

According to Zelenskyy, the restoration of Ukraine also means millions of jobs and billions in profits for companies. Zelenskyy noted that at the current stage it is important to proceed to actions: agreements and projects.
