Give us more equipment and you will see Russian tanks burning – Ignat

Last summer, the company Rheinmetall presented the Panther at an exhibition in Paris and called it the world's most powerful battle tank.

The CEO of the German defense concern Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger, said that he would very much like to see these tanks in action while the war in Ukraine continues. That is, some people from a commercial point of view have a dream to test their equipment in real combat conditions.

On the air of the telethon, the spokesman of the command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuriy Ignat agreed with the statement.

"We say give us more, and you will see how Russian tanks burn and Russian planes are on fire. What escalation are they talking about if they declare in their shows that they will bomb London, Berlin, Washington and Paris? Our Western partners see and hear all of this, and that is why they are helping us. We are waiting for help, we need more. The territory of Ukraine is as big as France, but they have 220 multi-purpose fighters. How many fighter jets does Ukraine need to cover the entire territory? We need more, but they need to be maintained, and huge funds are spent on this," Yuriy Ignat emphasized.
