According to a Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel, the enemy unfortunately holds an advantage on the battlefield.

War in Ukraine

There are currently six threatening directions on the eastern front: Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, Siversk and the recently added Toretsk and Kupiansk directions.

This information was shared by military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2014-2017), Vladyslav Seleznyov, on the air of the "Espreso" TV channel.

"The front is hot not only because of the weather but also because the enemy is actively attacking. They are attacking more extensively and persistently on the eastern flank of the Russian-Ukrainian front. Combat clashes are also ongoing in the north of Kharkiv region," he said, noting that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are experiencing success there and are able to slowly but steadily push the enemy forces closer to the border.

According to the colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy, unfortunately, has an advantage on the battlefield.

"Although this advantage on the battlefield is defined by the tactical successes of enemy forces and means, the trend is quite alarming. If two weeks ago we spoke about four main threatening directions in the east of our country, now there are actually six. In addition to the known directions such as Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar and Siversk, the Toretsk and Kupiansk directions have been added. In these directions, the enemy has significantly intensified its actions with the aim of advancing close to the Oskil River, forming a threat on the territory of Kharkiv region," Seleznyov added.
