Invaders Conduct Pseudo-Survey in Kherson Region About “Integration" with Russia – Intelligence
In Kherson Region, the Russian invaders continue to prepare the prerequisites for fake referendum on potential “integration” with the Russian Federation.
In particular, according the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the invasion authorities conduct the fake “social survey” in the Russia-controlled areas.
"The citizens receive the phone calls from telephone number 74994263534 and offered to answer a number of manipulative questions intended to influence their attitude to Russia, the war, the invasion rule and Putin’s personality”, the intelligence report reads.
The core questions of the “survey” are as follows:
- What is your assessment of the current situation in your region?
- What is your assessment of the current situation in the city of Kherson?
- What the “local authorities” should do in order the improve the life quality of residents?
- What do you think about special military operation in Ukraine?
- What do you think about Vladimir Putin?
- What do you think about the Russian Army?
- In your opinion, should Kherson Region integrate with the Russian Federation, integrated with “the Republic of Crimea” or follow the path of “the Luhansk / Donetsk People’s Republic”?
- Do you have any relatives in Ukraine or Russia?
- In your opinion, what should the Ukrainian government do about the region: completely forget about it, leave it alone, write off the debts? What should the Russian Federation do for the region: improve education, increase pension and social benefits, et cetera?
The intelligence believes that the invaders may use the pseudo-survey “results” to demonstrate the allegedly loyal attitude of the local population, since the integrity and transparency of this “survey” data simply cannot be controlled.
"Most residents of the Russian-controlled areas of Kherson Region refuse to answer the questions asked by the invaders. Those who agree to participate in the survey under coercion, cannot express their honest opinion because of concerns regarding the own safety”, the intelligence report reads.
Ukrainian intelligence believes that the invasion authorities lack the capacity to conduct the so-called “referendum”, therefore they may attempt to “integrate” the region based on the results of the highly questionable “social survey”, where the Ukrainians allegedly “expressed support of the invasion regime”.
