China can play a key role in ending the war initiated by the Kremlin in Ukraine, as Beijing has "special" relations with Moscow.
This was stated by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with the Italian newspaper “La Stampa”.
"It is obvious to me that China certainly has a very great potential to put an end to this war, Russian aggression against Ukraine because of the special relations it has with Russia," the Ukrainian minister emphasized.
Kuleba also assessed the relations between Ukraine and China. According to him, they "have never experienced problems either in fundamental issues or in bilateral relations," so "trust between us exists."
