Podolyak explained what victory means for Ukraine

Ukraine does not consider the possibility of "freezing the war," recognizing Russia's annexation and refusing NATO membership.

Currently, there is no alternative to the Ukrainian peace formula.

This was announced by Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak.

"You can often hear the question: "What goal does Ukraine set for itself and what does it see as victory?" I answer. Ukraine's strategic goal, in addition to the unconditional return of territories, is to create conditions that make it impossible to repeat aggression in the future," he wrote on Twitter.

According to him, Ukraine does not consider any scenarios of "freezing the war", recognizing the annexation of Russia and refusing to join NATO. Such a scenario would only encourage the terrorist country to increase its appetites and return to war after a short break.

"That is why there is no alternative to the Ukrainian peace formula: strengthening the army, speeding up the supply of weapons, de-occupation of the territory, regime change in Russia, compensation from the new government and mandatory punishment of war criminals," Podolyak added.
