The Russian army has significantly strengthened its capabilities for conducting massive missile strikes on Ukraine. A large-scale attack could happen with the onset of frost.
This was stated by aviation expert Valeriy Romanenko during an interview on the "Espreso" TV channel.
Citing data from Ukraine's Defence Intelligence, Romanenko emphasizes that as of July this year, the Russian army had 190 Kh-101 missiles. According to him, the Russians were producing between 40 and 50 missiles of this type every month.
"If we calculate it now, it amounts to about 120 missiles plus 190 in reserve. These are their capabilities for a missile strike only from strategic bombers. And there are also MiG-31 aircraft with "Kinzhal" missiles, Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as a fleet with missiles," Romanenko explained.
The Russians have significantly enhanced their capabilities for conducting massive missile strikes on Ukraine. The expert stresses that there are no reasons for Russia to refrain from launching attacks on Ukraine right now.
"There are no aircraft losses either. In the European part of Russia, they have about 20 Tu-95 MS aircraft, but a significant number of them are in non-flying condition. Overall, they can deploy about one and a half squadrons, up to 15 aircraft, capable of flying. So, the Russians are really waiting for the coldest weather," Romanenko emphasized.
