Russia Is Saving High-Precision Missiles and Using Outdated Soviet Rockets Instead: What’s Their Extra Hazard?
Russia has started to use outdated Soviet-era missiles for strikes against Ukraine.
This indicates that the invaders are most likely saving more state-of-art high-precision weapons, according to Yurii Ihnat, the Speaker of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy has intensified the use of Soviet-era X-59 and X-22 missiles. The latter is a very powerful rocket carrying a warhead of around 900 kilograms. Its explosion upon impact causes large-scale destruction. The worst thing about this missile that it rarely hits its target, which creates a serious threat for nearby civilian facilities”, Yurii Ihnat explained.
