According to the current situation on the frontline, there are four most dangerous areas where an intensified offensive of the Russian occupying army can be expected.

This opinion was expressed by military-political analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, Oleksandr Kovalenko, on "1+1" channel.
According to him, the most dangerous area is the direction towards Chasiv Yar.

"At the moment, the Russians are concentrating their maximum efforts not on initiating combat actions in the city itself, but on creating conditions for the success of this offensive. Primarily, they are trying to capture Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Ivanivske and also Bohdanivka because these villages are the key to Chasiv Yar," the expert emphasized.

Oleksandr Kovalenko suggests that the offensive, specifically on the city of Chasiv Yar, may begin in the second half of 2024, possibly in June or July.

"Chasiv Yar has tactical and strategic significance, being a dominant height in the region, and they need it for further advance to the west in the northwest direction, especially towards the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration," he noted.

The second direction where there is a danger of intensified offensive, according to Kovalenko, is Kupiansk.

"In general, the Lyman-Kupiansk axis is practically the second most important direction in the plans of the Russian command today, where they can concentrate the main strike. Although for almost a year now, they have been unable to cope with our fortified area around the village of Synkivka," he noted.

The third location Kovalenko mentions is the line 0532 - from Maryinka to Vuhledar, which is a logistical artery. "Vuhledar is very important to them," he emphasized.

The fourth area, according to the expert, is the Robotyne ledge in Zaporizhzhia region.

"Robotyne itself is a big problem right now for the Russian grouping of troops concentrated in the south... Without regaining control over Robotyne, they won't be able to, as they planned: firstly, align the front line, and secondly, start preparing offensive actions in the direction of Orikhiv and Huliaipole", Oleksandr Kovalenko explained.
