The aggressor Russia’s army launched missiles at Ukraine from a submarine for the second time in half a year. This was verified by the Ukrainian Naval Forces.

Spokesman of the Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, told about it on “Radio Svoboda”.

According to him, the Russian armed forces are seeking ways to deploy missile carriers at sea. However, the occupiers are very concerned about the safety of their own ships.

"No ships are in the sea, as there were none before. They are exploring ways to use carriers of cruise missiles. There is a verified case of using a submarine. The day before yesterday, it seems (April 8 - Ed.), they used a submarine to launch missiles. This is the second verified case in just over half a year. They are seeking ways to realize their potential given the dangers they already face in the Black Sea. Therefore, old helicopters will continue to fall, as well as airplanes that patrol the coast. So they will continue to try to somehow use their submarines," the Navy representative said.

Pletenchuk says that there are three submarine missile carriers in Russian Black Sea fleet. However, he noted, this does not mean that all three of them will go to sea tomorrow.

"Last week they went out - two units - and immediately returned. Perhaps this was a “trial run” to diversify the statistics of non-departures at sea.

But surface missile carriers remain stationed in Novorossiysk," Dmytro Pletenchuk emphasized.
