Around 2,500 trucks are waiting to leave Poland on the Ukrainian-Polish border at three checkpoints, where traffic is blocked by Polish carriers.
Andriy Demchenko, Spokesman of the State Border Service of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon.
"The queue forming in Poland of freight vehicles that want to cross the border in the direction of Ukraine continues to grow. As of this morning, it's 2,500 trucks waiting for the opportunity to cross the border, hindered by Polish carriers," Demchenko said.
He added that the majority of trucks are in the direction of the “Yahodyn” checkpoint, constituting over 50%. The rest are concentrated at the “Rava-Ruska” and “Krakovets” checkpoints.
"Only one direction remains where vehicles are moving more or less intensively, leaving Ukraine for Poland - this is the "Krakovets" checkpoint.
