"Summary Executions Almost Every Day": Activist Spoke About Russian Crimes in Kherson Region

Before full-scale Russian invasion, the population of a small-village Vysokopillia in Kherson Region was about 5 thousand people, but now the village barely has around thousand residents.

Most villagers escaped to Dnipro Region, since after seizure of Vysokopillia by enemy troops the village has turned into a scene of the massacre, where the innocent civilians almost every day get killed by the Russian invaders, as Volodymyr Molchankov, an activist from Kherson, shared in his interview for Channel 24.

“In Vysokopillia, the invaders practice almost daily summary executions. The villagers had escape to Dnipro Region on foot. It’s a real tragedy, the repetition of Bucha”, the man says.

Moreover, in Kherson some local residents are kidnapped by the Russian invaders in kept in so-called “detention pits”, so they cannot provide information about the enemy unit deployment sites to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, the Kherson residents witness these horrible things, which may easily happen to them as well, but many of them simply don’t have enough money to afford moving away with their families.
