Currently, the most intense and fierce battles are ongoing in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions in Donetsk region. In Kharkiv region, the Russians are trying to reach the Oskil River.

This was stated by Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, as reported by the General Staff.

"The enemy is trying to break through the defense of our troops on a narrow section of the front between the settlements of Staromykhailivka - Berdychi through offensive and assault actions by the most prepared units. Offensive actions are taking place both with the use of armored vehicles and on foot. Often, they use motorcycles and buggies," he reported.

Intense combat actions are also ongoing in the area of Ivanivske and in the approaches to Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. Syrskyi emphasizes that the occupiers are trying "at any cost gain a foothold in the area of the city." In particular, the aggressors are employing T-90M, BMP-3, and BMD-4. They are successfully destroyed by anti-tank weapons and FPV drones, he added.

In the Kupiansk direction, battles continue in the forested area north of Vovchansk. According to Syrskyi, the situation is tough in the area of Kyslivka, where the Russian army is trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and reach the Oskil River.

Meanwhile, near Liptsy, Kharkiv region, the enemy has suffered significant losses, switched to active defense, conducts mining, and shell the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Syrskyi says that there is also unrest in other directions. However, the number and intensity of the combat actions are significantly lower.
