The General Staff Named Directions, Where Russia and Belarus May Deploy Their Troops

Belarus continues to accommodate and train mobilized Russian troops.

Russia and Belarus continue the joint deployment of a military grouping Belarusian territory, which can be used to attack Volyn and Polissia directions, as Brigade General Oleksii Hromov, the Deputy Chief of Head Operational Office of the AFU’s General Staff, said his during a briefing.

According to him, Belarus is now accommodating and training mobilized Russian troops.

"The deployment of a regional military grouping of the so-called Union State, which can operate in the Volyn and Polissia operational areas, is continuing in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The relevant law enforcement agencies and local authorities of the Republic of Belarus are taking measures to prepare and receive the Russian military contingent from among those mobilized on the territory of the Russian Federation. We are currently working to find out exact locations of its personnel," Hromov said.
