This Is the Top Priority: Kuleba Tells What Weapons Ukraine Is Actively Negotiating On
The partners are aware of the types of weapons that Ukraine still needs, Kuleba says.
Ukrainian diplomats are negotiating supplies of fighter jet and missiles with a range of 300 kilometers with the western allies on a priority basis. Ukrainian soldiers need such weapons to defeat Russian aggression, as Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said during his briefing.
According to him, Ukraine needs fighter jet and long-range missiles that can hit targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers to effectively fight Russia.
"This is not a weapon of escalation, but rather a weapon of defense and deterrence of the aggressor. We are negotiating to unblock all these solutions. I am confident that the Armed Forces will certainly receive all the necessary weapons," Kuleba emphasized.
The Minister called on the partners to do everything within their power to ensure that Ukrainian soldiers receive the necessary weapons as soon as possible. In addition, Ukrainian diplomats in key capital cities are currently prioritizing this goal.
"I am convinced that the new consensus of the allies in support of Ukraine must include determination and consistency. The Armed Forces of Ukraine must receive all types of weapons they need to defend and restore the territorial integrity of our country," Kuleba said.
