Tread a Fine Line: Orban Says Russia Cannot Win, But It Cannot Be Stalemated
He calls for peace talks.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, an ardent supporter of the Kremlin leader, called for peace talks on the anniversary of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The Hungarian Prime Minister wrote about this on his Twitter account.
Orban emphasizes that "we need a ceasefire and peace talks." According to him, "the sooner the better."
"Russia cannot win because the entire Western world stands behind Ukraine. At the same time, Russia is a nuclear power, and a nuclear power cannot be cornered because it could provoke a nuclear war," Orban wrote.
