Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that Ukraine is ready to join NATO. This is evidenced by the level of our army and the desire of Ukrainian citizens regarding membership in the Alliance.

He said this at a meeting with media representatives following negotiations with President of Estonia, Alar Karis.

"The army with combat experience, not in theory but in practice. The army that has used NATO weapons in the field of battle, not just in military exercises. And when I see the level of our army, its experience, I see that we are absolutely ready for the Alliance," Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that even during the war, Ukraine is implementing all necessary reforms, and regarding the Ukrainian people, "about 90% support NATO membership."

Zelenskyy believes that Ukraine's membership in NATO will be the best guarantee of security for both Ukraine and the Baltic states and Poland.
