North Korean soldiers fighting on the side of Russia have undergone further training, making them even more dangerous to Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Military expert Serhiy Hrabski explains that their individual training is quite high, although they initially suffered significant losses due to outdated tactical methods.

He shared this on the air of the telethon.

According to him, after catastrophic losses, the Russians had to pull these units back for additional training, as they needed results on the battlefield. Now, North Korean soldiers are already using modern drone systems and other equipment, creating new challenges for Ukrainian defenders.

Hrabski emphasizes that demotivating North Korean soldiers is nearly impossible. Their units include representatives from North Korea's security forces, who carefully monitor every move of the soldiers, even during breaks between attacks.

"In fact, their families are hostages of the regime, and this explains the desperation with which they go into battle," the expert noted. He adds that fear for the lives of their loved ones drives North Korean soldiers to fight to the last, as being captured or switching sides to Ukraine would mean the physical destruction of their families.

Additionally, North Korean soldiers undergo powerful propaganda indoctrination, which convinces them that they are not fighting Ukrainians, but South Korean soldiers. According to Hrabski, this propaganda, combined with control and fear, makes them one of the most motivated units among Russia's allies.
