Last night, the aggressor Russia fired 11 cruise missiles at Ukraine from Tu-95 MS strategic bombers. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down only seven targets due to a lack of resources.

This was stated by Spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Illya Yevlash, on the air of the telethon.

"Last night, units of electronic warfare, mobile fire groups, and anti-aircraft missile forces worked and destroyed 7 out of 11 missiles. Previously, we had managed to eliminate a higher percentage of targets," he emphasized.

According to Yevlash, the reason for the less than 100% effectiveness of the air defense was a shortage of air defense resources.

"We have to maneuver our available forces and means to repel attacks, as the enemy often launches both drones and missiles from various points and locations," the Air Force representative explained.
