Zelenskyy explained what is needed for a diplomatic resolution to the war

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a diplomatic end to the war is only possible based on the Ukrainian formula of peace and on the condition of liberating all territories temporarily occupied by Russia.

The Head of State made this statement in an interview with “Fox News”.

"My message is - we don't want to repeat the Minsk agreements, but regarding another part of our territory - no new frozen conflicts. We don't believe in that. And I don't trust him (Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin). Regarding the negotiation table - when we are prepared, when there is a document based on our formula of peace, our main document, and when we have the support of the world, then we can look for ways to talk to representatives of Russia," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

According to the President, our country can only speak from a position of strength.

"From a position of strength, we have one very important diplomatic path - that is a document. And when it is ready, it doesn't matter where we stand at that moment. If we are strong on all points that I have outlined, and when we have the document, and the majority of large countries on our side, key countries, who make decisions, then we can talk about political negotiations," Zelenskyy emphasized.
