Ukraine was unaware of the talks in Saudi Arabia, will not participate in them, and will not recognize any agreements made about itself without its involvement. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine."

The Head of State commented on the issue of negotiations in Saudi Arabia between representatives of Russia and the USA.

"Ukraine will not participate. Ukraine knew nothing about this. And Ukraine views any talks about Ukraine without Ukraine as those that have no result. We cannot recognize any matters or agreements about us without us. And we will not recognize such agreements," Zelenskyy emphasized.

In his opinion, these negotiations have a bilateral track, "and they have the right to do so if they have bilateral issues." The President added that this had been discussed earlier but only now "has it become public."

Zelenskyy also stated that his planned official visit to Saudi Arabia on February 18 "has no connection with the things happening in Saudi Arabia at the level of representatives of the United States and Russia."

The President of Ukraine will inquire about the negotiations with the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.

The Head of State also mentioned he would ask about the reduction of oil prices. Zelenskyy believes that this could be done by U.S. President Donald Trump.

"I don't know who might succeed in lowering the prices. I believe that President Trump has the greatest resource for this, as he is the strongest in this direction in energy and has control over it. And I think that if he sets the goal, he will be able to achieve it," the Ukrainian President added.
